National Teacher Awards COVID Hero 2020 Award
2020 and the Coronavirus crisis presents unique challenges for education in Ireland and to that end the organisers are creating a special award for this year: The 2020 National Teacher Awards Covid Hero.
This special, one time, award will honour a person or persons who have gone the extra mile to provide continuity of education in the Republic of Ireland during the Covid 19 pandemic.
YOU CAN NOMINATE A TEACHER FOR THE COVID HERO AWARD EVEN IF YOU ALREADY ENTERED THEM INTO THE MAIN COMPETITION
The winner will be decided by the organisers, drawn from a pool of submissions from educators, 2nd level students and the general public.

This special, one time, award will honour a person or persons who have gone the extra mile to provide continuity of education in the Republic of Ireland during the Covid 19 pandemic.
The winner will be decided by the organisers, drawn from a pool of submissions from educators, 2nd level students and the general public.
Submissions are now open o and take the form of a short (max 300 word) written submission.
From these submissions a shortlist will be drawn up and a winner announced.
There is no cost to enter and the deadline for submission is Friday June 26th at 11.59PM
